The Managing Director and Founder has over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has worked in various positions of leadership in restaurants operations, sales and convention services. In 2000, the layout of the new Burlington Convention Centre was designed with over 30,000 sq feet of flexible banquet space. Since the Burlington Convention Centre was first opened, we have received numerous awards for innovative and professional event productions in the catering and hospitality industry. The Management Team are committed, experienced professionals who have been cross trained to provide the best in service, food and decor to ensure a successful and memorable occasion. Created from a vision, built on determination and quality, the Burlington Convention Center has grown to be a five star multi-talented service oriented corporation, diversified to accommodate a specialized wide range of corporate, social and wedding needs for up to 1,200 guests. Over the years, we have formed strategic business alliances with some of the most prominent organizations. We have designed and executed scores of high profile events for; several Prime Ministers of Canada, including the Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Justin Trudeau, the Governor of the Bank of Canada, Mr. Stephen S. Poloz, many Premiers and Ministers of Ontario and local officials. Burlington Convention Centre has also been hosting and supporting many high profile Charity Galas, including; Halton Heroes (to raise money for families of fallen Police Officers), The Carpenter Hospice, The Rotary Club, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Darling Home for Kids, the Burlington Community Foundation, and many others. The Burlington Convention Centre is conveniently located at 1120 Burloak Road and the QEW. An ideal location for all occasions, accommodating from 20 to 1,200 persons with a total of 5 banquet and conference centre rooms.
